Forum Shah
Forum Shah is the creative head and founder of iCraft and iCraftdit, two platforms that aim to revolutionize the craft industry in India. She has always been passionate about art and craft, and she has a rich background in both fields.
She graduated from K.J. Somaiya College of Commerce and then pursued hobby painting from J.J. School of Art. She also holds an MBA degree from Madurai Kamaraj University.
She started her career as a drawing teacher in 2001, and by 2012, she had helped establish an institute with more than 500 students. She realized that there was a huge gap in the market for craft products, as they were either unavailable, expensive, or low-quality.
She also noticed that there was a lack of awareness and appreciation for the craft industry in India. She decided to launch iCraft in 2015, a platform that manufactures and distributes highquality craft products at affordable rates.
She also created iCraftdit, a platform that offers online and offline workshops and tutorials on various craft techniques and projects. She is an expert in mix media art and abstract art, and she has conducted over 1000 workshops throughout her career.
Her vision is to provide user-friendly craft materials, and to help individuals ignite their creativity and relive cherished memories through art and craft. She believes that craft is not just a hobby, but a way of life. She is also a proud mother of a son, and she manages her family and business with grace and dedication.
Dinesh Shah
As the CEO and co-founder of iCraft, Dinesh Shah is a passionate business leader who aims to revolutionize the craft industry in India. He has 15 years of experience in establishing supply chain operations, business development, and client relations.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Praladrai Dalmai College of Commerce and an MBA in marketing from Madurai Kamaraj University. Dinesh started his career in the travel industry, where he ran his own venture, Vadhan Tours and Travel, for four years. He then switched his business line to support his wife, Forum Shah, who is the creative head and founder of iCraft.
He believed in Forum’s passion and vision for the craft industry, and he helped her start iCraft in 2015. Dinesh is responsible for managing the production and distribution of iCraft products, which are high-quality and affordable craft materials.
He has also built a flourishing network across local and international markets, and he has reached over 250 stores in India and 11 countries. His goal is to make iCraft a household brand or all craft enthusiasts. Dinesh is also an avid traveler, a voracious reader, and a lover of driving.
He is a proud father of a son, who shares his and Forum’s love for art and craft. Dinesh enjoys exploring new places, learning new things, and spending quality time with his family.
